Your data, kept small
Inked on 1 November 2026
The short version of how we handle data
Inkwellmoorgame collects as little as it possibly can. There are no accounts, no sign-up forms, no comment boxes, no analytics and no advertising trackers. You can read every page without telling us who you are.
This policy explains the few things that do happen when you visit, where that information lives and what rights you have under UK GDPR.
Your kept boards stay in your browser
When you tap the heart on a board, the shortlist is saved in your own browser using localStorage. Your answer to the cookie notice is stored in exactly the same way. Neither is ever sent to us: they live on your device and nowhere else.
You can remove both at any moment by clearing your browser data for this site. Your shortlist and your notice choice will then disappear, and the notice will simply ask again on your next visit.
Fonts come from Google Fonts
The typefaces on this site are served by Google Fonts. To deliver the font files, Google receives your IP address and basic details about your browser, as happens whenever any site loads files from another server. Google handles that information under its own privacy policy.
We do not receive that information ourselves, and we use Google Fonts only for the lettering you see on the page.
Letters to the editors
If you write to editors@inkwellmoorgame.com, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to tell us. We use it only to read your message and reply to you, and we keep it only as long as the conversation needs.
We never add correspondents to mailing lists, share their addresses or use their messages for anything beyond answering them.
Stepping off to a game’s own site
Play buttons open each platform’s official site in a new tab. Once you are there, that publisher decides what data it collects, and its own privacy policy applies. We recommend reading it before you create an account on any platform.
What UK GDPR gives you
Under UK GDPR you have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected and to have it deleted. In practice, the only personal data we could hold is an email you sent us, and we will gladly delete it on request.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK’s data protection regulator. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first, so please write to us.
If this page is ever revised
If the way the site handles data ever changes, for example if we add a new feature, we will update this page and the revision date at the top. Questions about anything here are welcome at editors@inkwellmoorgame.com.
